Real Estate Closing Attorneys

IN NORTH CAROLINA, ALL REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS ARE CLOSED BY ATTORNEYS. The buyer and the seller each need to hire their own attorney. This attorney list does not include all of the attorneys on the beach nor is it designed to endorse anyone in particular. If you would rather work with someone not on this list please let us know. We have a good rapport with all of the attorneys on the beach.

Some states don't use closing attorneys in real estate transactions. In some areas escrow agents or title companies handle all the paper work involved with the transaction. I have heard this results in a much smoother less expensive way to close a real estate deal but I do not know for sure. We have always used attorneys and the attorneys own the companies that write title insurance on the real estate being purchased. There are no escrow agents or title companies around here.
